The beach at Daymer Bay is wide, sandy and secluded. The beach itself lies within the mouth of the Camel Estuary and so is sheltered. The gently sloping beach makes it safe for swimming and ideal for families.

The beach has lots of rock pools to explore and there are also boats available to hire. The bathing is generally safe unless the wind is blowing from the south east.
