A beautiful isolated, sandy beach hidden away in a picturesque cove. Unfortunately there is no parking available so access is via the coast path. Please note there are no facilities available at this beach.
Bowleaze Cove lies just to the East of Weymouth, yet within Weymouth Bay and can be walked to via Preston Beach. It is situated within the parish of Preston, which is known for the Roman relics discovered over the years.
This beach is ideal for families and has safe swimming with lifeguard cover in the summer months. There is also a good café at the beach providing snacks and refreshments.
The beach is in a quiet rural location and is ideal for those who are looking for a peaceful day out. It was once used by smugglers and is now a popular location for fossil hunters.
