Nature in Art, Gloucester, Gloucestershire |
The world’s only museum and art gallery dedicated to all kinds of art inspired by nature.
- A huge variety of art inspired by nature
- Arty activities and outdoor playground for children
- Meet an artist at work and see how they create their masterpieces!
Our collection embraces two and three-dimensional work in all mediums and styles ranging from Picasso to Shepherd. Spanning 1500 years, it contains work by 600 artists from over 60 countries. So whether you prefer exotic oriental treasures or watercolour landscapes, the Flemish masters or contemporary glass – there will be something here for you. You are likely to make some discoveries too!
To involve our younger visitors, we provide activities especially for them. Children can have fun touching some sculptures, creating animal brass rubbings, solving quizzes and experimenting with various materials. They can also explore the outdoor playground and dramatic art forms around the sculpture garden. Artists from across the world work at the museum during all opening hours between February and November.
