A seven mile stretch of sand
Berrow beach forms part of a seven mile stretch of sand running from Burnham-on-Sea to Brean Down. With the second highest tidal range in the world, there are extensive flats, perfect for walking and beach sports.
It is popular with sea anglers, who can find fish three hours either side of high tide. The sands are backed by dunes that are rich in wildlife and include a local nature reserve with a way-marked trail. Car parking is allowed on sections of the beach. There are public conveniences, Cafés and other leisure amenities close by.
